I'd like to get the ctrl+v keyboard shortcut working again in Word. Also, I just did a full NAV (Norton Antivirus 2006 ver 14) scan with today's definitions and not problems found. And it doesn't have anything to do with the recent Windows Update XP patch (KB951748)-Zone Alarm problem as it occurred prior to that and I have since updated Zone Alarm and installed all the monthly Windows XP patches. I wasn't doing anything other than working in Word on a document & I didn't install anything new when this first occurred. The alternative keyboard shortcuts for copy, cut & paste - ctrl+ins, shift+del, & shift+ins all work fine in Word, Excel, Notepad. The ctrl key itself works fine, & the 'v' key works fine, I don't think there is a keyboard failure, just a selective failure of ctrl+v in Word.
