is there going to be an inspector lewis season 8

I must admit I really didn’t see any spark between them (Joan and Strange) but others saw it - so many sparks with Morse over every series that I would feel ripped off with nothing but felt ripped off with S8 so that maybe where I am going to be left with this series (hoping if there is a S9 it is much superior but after really believing S8 would be fantastic not holding much hope). I kind of agree with you about them but just wish it wasn’t going to be Strange - tbh even in that article it sounds well….boring - and I love Joan’s character and being an Inspector Morse fan the thought of her future married to Strange and being the social status obsessed lady who lunches married to a Mason makes me sad - but for others they only see the Strange in Endeavour (although I thought he had a personality transplant in S8) I think he is in love with the thought of love but just can’t commit. He is too set in his ways with his music and crosswords to give it up for marriage and children. It’s true that even though Endeavour is in love with Joan I can’t imagine him shopping for groceries with her. I am impressed with her accent you can’t hear a trace of Scottish.

It definitely sounds like there will be a series 9! I had no idea that Sara Vickers was a fellow Scot.
